Park University named best value among private institutions

PARKVILLE, Missouri - Park University offers the best value of the nation’s private institutions, according to a list published recently by ParentsAndColleges.com.

Schools that made the list offer a diversity of degrees, have affordable tuitions and/or offer generous financial aid, and report the highest SAT or ACT score for this incoming class, according to the site.

“We are thrilled that this new comprehensive resource for college-bound students has chosen Park University as the No. 1 best value institution among private colleges and universities," said Park University President Michael Droge, Ph.D.

Park, which operates 43 campus centers in 21 states in addition to its main campus in Parkville, was noted on the site for having a tuition that is just a fraction of other private schools ($298 per credit) and a low student-to-faculty ratio (12 to 1).

Parents and Colleges calls itself an online resource for parents of college-bound students.
