Uptown Theater hosts veteran job fair

Hundreds of veterans are expected to attend a job fair at Kansas City’s Uptown Theater Thursday.
Nearly 500 vets and their spouses have preregistered, though preregistration is not required.
Forty-two organizations will be on site.
"We understand the challenge that veterans face when they transition out and they’re starting over again and they’re trying to figure out how their skills transfer out and where are the best places to go.”
The job fair runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Uptown Theater is located at 3700 Broadway St., in Kansas City, Mo.
