KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police tell 41 Action News the victim of an early-morning shooting in Kansas City has died.

Two people were arrested near the scene of the shooting, which happened a little after 4 a.m., authorities said earlier.

According to investigators, a large group of people had gathered outside a house near 33rd and College before the shooting. The two who were arrested were being questioned, but their involvement in the shooting wasn’t immediately clear.

There was no immediate word on a possible motive for the shooting.
