Two juveniles are facing rape charges after a reported rape at Southwest Early College Campus in Kansas City, Mo.
Police said the Office of the Juvenile Officer of Jackson County, Mo., filed allegations of first degree rape against at 15-year-old and a 14-year-old.
Authorities said the rape happened on Thursday and both boys were arrested.
The school district released the following statement regarding the allegations:
"The Kansas City Public Schools, along with local police, is addressing allegations of misconduct involving students at Southwest Early College Campus. Per standard procedure and federal law, KCPS does not publically disclose the private matters of its students. However, the school system places the highest value on the health and safety of its students, and is proactively working with authorities to resolve this matter. KCPS will have no further comment on this matter."
