KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two people died and a third was injured Wednesday night in a shooting in Kansas City.
Police responded to the 3200 block of College around 11:50 p.m. on a call of a disturbance and shooting outside.
Arriving officers found two men who had been shot. One was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was transported to an area hospital, where he died a short time later.
The men have been identified as 24-year-old Travis C. Pernell and 29-year-old Melvin L. Taylor.
The third shooting victim, who sustained non life-threatening injuries, walked to the fire station at Linwood and Indiana.
Investigators did not have any suspect information to pass along.
