Three teens were injured in a shooting Monday in Kansas City, Kan.
The shooting occurred at 28th and Metropolitan, near the Joe E. Amayo Argentine Community Center, around 5:15 p.m. One person was shot in the arm, and another in the leg. The details of the third person's injuries are unknown.
Neighbors who live in the area found their homes turned into a crime scene by stray bullets targeting the three teens.
"We were watching TV. Me and my dad and my sister were watching TV, and we heard gunshots," Tony Talavera said.
Talavera and his family were luckily inside when the shooting started.
"Pop, pop, pop, and the next thing I know I heard a bullet whiz by, and I saw it go right through my Dad's window," he said.
Neighbors watched as the teens tried to avoid the barrage of bullets. The shooter or shooters didn't just hit the teens.
"The car, the neighbor's garage door and on the house here a knick on the window," Talavera said, pointing out bullet holes.
