KANSAS CITY, Mo. - An 80-year-old woman told police she was tired of her husband's verbal abuse and taking her clothes.
Annie Oliver now faces a murder charge in the deadly baseball attack on her 75-year-old husband Wednesday in their home. Officers found Ronald Oliver dead on the floor of a bedroom in the house in the 4300 block of Norton Avenue in Kansas City.
He suffered severe head injuries, according to court documents. The officers also found a baseball bat next to a dresser in the bedroom.
Ms. Oliver was found by police in another bedroom putting on clothes. She is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Prosecutors requested a cash bond of $250,000.
