KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man was seriously injured after an attempted street robbery in Kansas City, Mo.
According to police, the victim was shot while running away from a would-be robber near 12th and Troost around 5:10 p.m. He was found at 9th and Highland.
Both directions of 9th Street from Woodland to Paseo were briefly closed after the shooting.
