KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City police are looking for information about a person suspected of shooting at a security guard in a Kansas City convenience store.

Police said a woman entered a 7033 Prospect Ave. convenience store at 7 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2012. When the security guard asked the woman to leave the business, police said she showed a handgun and threatened the security guard.

Police said the woman then fired four to five shots at the security guard across a parking lot filled with people.

There were no injuries reported in the shooting.

Police are looking for a black woman in her early 20s with a light complexion. The department said she is between 5-foot-2 to 5-5 and weighs 120-130 pounds. At the time of the shooting, the woman was reportedly wearing a red “KC” hat, red, hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
