KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One man is charged and two juveniles are in jail after allegedly robbing a man in a Plaza parking garage, and attempting other robberies over the next several days.
Derrick L. Sanders, 19, of Kansas City is charged with two counts of armed robbery -- the second in connection with an April 14 robbery.
Police said Sanders and two juveniles robbed a man in a parking garage at 807 W. 47th Street on April 16.
Plaza security saw the suspects the next day, and attempted to catch them, but they got away.
The group showed up at the Plaza again on April 18.
Security saw the group and again tried to apprehend them, but they fled. Kansas City police caught the men at 39th and Paseo.
The three people were taken into custody. Police also found a gun, masks and property reportedly taken in the robbery.
