INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The man wanted in connection to a home invasion in Independence that left three people dead has been arrested, police said Wednesday.
On Monday, the Independence Police Department released a picture of 32-year-old Antonio Cervantes III, identifying him as a suspect in last Friday’s home invasion and shooting.
According to police, Cervantes was arrested Tuesday night. No charges have been filed in the case.
The home invasion happened Friday, Nov. 16 in the 1500 block of S. Pope.
Four people were shot, according to police. Killed were Maria Hernandez, her son Antonio Hernandez, and her boyfriend Thomas Madrigal. The fourth person was seriously injured.
