Authorities looking for Jeep possibly involved in triple-homicide at Red Roof Inn

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - A person of interest in a triple-homicide inside a motel room is in custody and are looking for a vehicle that may be involved, authorities said Monday.

According to police, Dejan Joksimovic, Armin Hamidovic, both 18, and 22-year-old Delfino Elizondo were attending a drinking party in the early-morning hours Feb. 26 when they were shot to death.

There were several other people inside the room at the time, police said, many of whom ran away before police arrived.

The person of interest, an 18-year-old, was being held Monday on unrelated charges.

Investigators say they are looking for a silver or gray Jeep bearing Missouri license plate YF2-D5E.
