LANSING, Kan. - Authorities captured a 43-year-old convicted burglar on Thursday. The burglar walked away from the minimum-security unit at the state prison Monday.
At about 5 p.m. Monday, prison officials realized Paul D. Cohagen was missing and put out a bulletin alerting law enforcement authorities to be on the lookout for him. He was imprisoned after a 2011 conviction for burglary in Osage County.
Cohagen is a white male with hazel eyes and brown hair. He's 6-feet tall and weighs about 160 pounds.
Anyone who sees Cohagen, or knows his location, is asked to call the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, 1-800-522-7463, or the Lansing Correctional Facility, 913-727-3235.
