Boy pleads guilty in Raytown Middle School rape

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The teen boy accused of raping a student at Raytown Middle School pleaded guilty to forcible rape and forcible sodomy.
Jackson County Court officials confirmed Wednesday that the 16-year-old -- who was tried as a juvenile -- pleaded guilty to the crimes on Aug. 8.

The victim told police that the boy led her into a utility room near the gym, where he forcibly had sex with her on Feb. 27, 2012.
He is currently in the custody of the Division of Youth Services. No other information was released.
