KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police chased several home burglary suspects by car and on foot near 85th and Troost Wednesday morning.
The chase began at 8 a.m. after several home burglaries were reported near 89th and Belleview.
Officers saw the suspect vehicle, a silver Ford Taurus with two or three male suspects driving about 50 mph near 86th and Madison.
A chase began, but officers followed only a few blocks before stopping the pursuit.
As officers stopped, the car turned near 85th and Troost, and the suspects bailed from the moving car and ran. The car rolled down the hill until it hit a streetlight and stopped.
A few minutes later officers had two young black males in custody. The search for a third suspect continued.
Officers believe the vehicle may have been stolen.
