KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A citizen tip eventually led to a homicide investigation Friday.
Just before 7 p.m., a citizen alerted a Kansas City Police captain of a dead body in the intersection of 22nd and Poplar in Kansas City’s east side.
When police arrived on scene, they found an adult male dead.
The cause of the man’s death wasn’t immediately available, but police are investigating the death as a homicide.
