KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A standoff related to a double shooting in Kansas City, Mo., is over.
The Operation 100 was called on the 4000 block of East 56th Terrace around 5:38 p.m. Monday because of a possible armed suspect barricaded inside a residence. It ended shortly before 9 p.m.
Seven people were found inside the residence -- four males, one female and two children. The kids are with family members as the adults are being questioned by police.
The shooting occurred just after 1 p.m. in the same area at the Friendship Village Apartments. Two people were injured -- one of them critically.
