Driver of stolen vehicle arrested after police chase through Independence and Kansas City

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - A man wanted for several arrest warrants led police on a chase through the metro area Wednesday morning.
The chase began in at 38th Street and Pittman in Independence, when officer tried to stop the silver Honda Passport and the driver fled.
The crash ended when the car crashed near the ramp on Blue Ridge to Interstate 70. Police arrested the driver, who was the only occupant. Police are trying to determine if the car was stolen.
