A person is under arrest - and in the hospital - after police officers opened fire on a car that was trying to run them over.
It happened around midnight near 10th and The Paseo.
Officers say they were checking on a parked car in the alley, when the driver stepped on the gas and drove at them.
That's when police opened fire.
The car took off, but police in Kansas City, Kan., later found the car and arrested the driver.
That person was being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
