OLATHE, Kan. - An Olathe, Kan., neighborhood is buzzing after drug enforcement investigators raided an area home on Wednesday night.
Agents busted the man's home - and two dozen people - in connection with a marijuana distribution ring.
The investigation goes back to April 2008.
Those involved are accused of intent to distribute more than one-thousand kilos of marijuana in Johnson and Douglas Counties.
Neighbors knew something was up when the swat team showed up – and they immediately started texting each other.
"Out here in rural Olathe, we have a cornfield across from us,” said Vaughn Airy. “You guys don't expect things like this to happen out here, but you never know."
Officers arrested several people from Olathe, Lenexa and Overland Park in the sting.
