KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One man is dead and another is injured after a shooting in east Kansas City, Mo.
The adult victim was fatally shot near 58th and Wabash around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. A short time later, the second victim arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle.
Witnesses say an older black Pontiac Grand Prix and a silver Ford Focus drove by when the shots were fired. Anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
If ruled a homicide, the fatal shooting will be the 78th murder in Kansas City this year.
