RAYTOWN, Mo. - A man who robbed a Raytown bank Tuesday morning assaulted an employee before leaving with money, according to the FBI.
The unidentified man, who has not been captured, entered the Bank of America, 6400 Raytown Trafficway, about 7:50 a.m., FBI spokesman Bob Carignan said.
The suspect was not armed and no customers were inside the bank, Carignan said.
The suspect ran away with an undisclosed amount of money.
It was not immediately clear if the employee who was assaulted required medical attention.
