KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Northland bank was robbed Monday morning, FBI spokeswoman Bridgett Patton said.
It happened at about 9:30 a.m. at Bank Midwest, 6430 N. Cosby, in Kansas City.
Patton said the suspect was described as a white man about 5 foot 9 and between 160 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask and a white hooded sweatshirt with a gray jacket over it.
He was also wearing dark gloves and light-colored cargo pants, Patton said.
The man entered the bank, displayed a weapon and demanded cash, according to Patton. He ran away from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money headed northbound, she said.
