KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The former Independence Pastor charged with murder is set to return from South Carolina Thursday to face a Jackson County judge.
David Love is accused of having an affair with a church member and killing her husband, 42-year-old Randy Stone on March 31st at Stone's Farmer's Insurance office.
Love presided over Stone's funeral. But then his world turned upside down. Police raided the New Hope Baptist Church. Love resigned and moved to South Carolina to work at a trucking company.
He was arrested in November in connection to the murder and detained in Spartanburg.
Thursday, Jackson County Sheriff's deputies will escort Love back to Kansas City. He is set to arrive at KCI at 1:13 p.m. for a 3 p.m. court appearance.
Stone faces first degree murder and armed criminal action charges.
