KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Four people were injured when a gunman opened fire outside a Kansas City nightclub early Wednesday morning.
One of the victims, a woman, had critical injuries. The others, two men and another woman, sustained only minor injuries, police on the scene said.
Officers were called to Champ's Lounge & Grill, 3900 Jackson, at about 1:30 a.m.
Investigators say a bouncer at the night club drove the woman to a nearby hospital. Emergency crews transported the two men.
The shooter, dressed in black, was standing on the sidewalk near the club and fired an undetermined number of shots.
Police did not have any information on a possible motive for the shooting.
