KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Police arrested one man and one woman in a stolen truck after a chase through Kansas City, Kan., on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers first started following the grey Chevy pickup truck because they thought the driver was a possible homicide suspect, according to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department. After the driver sped up, the chase began around 18th and Garfield. The pursuit then continued south on 7th Street and east on Walker.
The male driver and female passenger were arrested after the chase ended in a crash near 10th and Oakland. The driver turned out not to be a homicide suspect, according to police.
