KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A former Kansas City man learned the price he'll pay for stealing from two charities.
A judge sentenced Sean Taylor, also known as J.R. Gourley, to almost six years behind bars.
He also must pay more than $136,000 dollars in restitution.
Taylor pleaded guilty in January to stealing money from the Epilepsy Foundation of Kansas & Western Missouri and Westport Cooperative Services.
He lost some of the money while playing slot machines at a casino.
