KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City police are investigating an incident Monday night that left four people shot and one dead just blocks away from another weekend shooting.
Police were called to the 1700 block of Kansas Ave. around 9:20 p.m. Once they arrived, they found a man, identified as 27-year-old Carlton L. Lewis, dead at the scene.
Officers later found two more shooting victims that arrived at a nearby McDonald's restaurant.
This shooting took place just a few blocks away from a Saturday night incident that left one man dead and many others injured.
