Kansas City police looking for clues in morning homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Authorities are looking for answers after a man died in Kansas City Sunday morning.

An ambulance was called to the 3000 block of Flora just before 8 a.m. When officers arrived, they found the victim in the back yard of a boarded up house suffering from unknown types of wounds, according to a statement released from the Kansas City Police Department.

The victim, described by police as a black male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are treating the case as a homicide, but provided no suspect information.
