KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police are looking for two suspects after a home invasion and shooting in Kansas City.
Authorities said it happened in the 1500 block of E. 77th Terrace, just west of The Paseo, around 9 a.m. Thursday.
According to police, a man sleeping in the basement woke up to an intruder pointing a gun in his face. His brother, who was sleeping upstairs, woke up and went to investigate what was happening.
The two intruders shot the brother, before taking electronics from the home and fleeing. He was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
Police are looking for two men who drove away in a white, two-door vehicle.
