KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City man faces charges in four robberies, including one that prompted a stand-off with police late Saturday night.
Gary P. Goodspeed, 22, is charged with four counts of first degree robbery and four counts of armed criminal action, according to prosecutors.
Court documents say a woman was robbed after she arrived at a home in the 2100 block of East 70th Terrace Saturday night. When a second woman was called to the same house, police responded, prompting the stand-off. Goodspeed was arrested at the home after the stand-off ended.
Prosecutors have requested a bond of $500,000 or 10 percent.
