KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Police in Kansas City, Kan., found a man shot to death when they responded to a car crash early Sunday morning.
When officers arrived to the scene at 7th and Parallel around 1 a.m., they found a man in his twenties who had been shot to death.
The car was covered in bullet holes.
Police believe the shooting happened at 8th and Lafayette. The say the victim tried to get away, but only made it a few blocks before he died.
Police are still trying to piece together what led up to the shooting.
“CSI is here,” said Tom Tomasic of the Kansas City, Kansas Police. “So we're able to get into the vehicle and see if there is any evidence inside of it."
Police do not have any suspect information.
