KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Police have identified the murder suspect involved in Friday night’s three-hour-long standoff.
Police say Gabriel Ortega-Cobos shot two people early Friday morning at a bar near 12 th and Agnes.
29-year-old Guillermo Baylon-Olivares was killed in the shooting. The second person is expected to be okay.
When police went to take Ortega-Cobos into custody, he refused to come outside the home in the 500 block of Cypress.
After three hours, he was taken into custody without incident.
He is charged with first degree murder, first degree aggravated assault and two counts of armed criminal action.
His bond is set at $250,000 cash only.
