KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One man is dead after a shooting in Kansas City, Mo., and the search is on for his killer.
The shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Cleveland Avenue. The victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he died. Police later identified him as 47-year-old Tony L. Williams.
This is the 27th homicide in Kansas City so far this year, compared to 33 at this time in 2012.
