KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City man was in critical condition at a local hospital Saturday after being stabbed late Friday night.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday, police were called an apartment house at 2639 E. 29th St. and found the victim, described as a 54-year-old male, with life-threatening injuries from several stab wounds.
The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition Saturday morning.
