KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Investigators in Kansas City are looking for two people in connection to a Monday morning armed robbery at a Northland motel.

According to police, a “subject of interest” entered the Super Inn, 1600 NE Parvin, at about 4:35 a.m. Monday, asked the desk clerk questions and appeared to be casing the building.

That person left just moments before a man in a black hooded sweatshirt carrying a shotgun entered the lobby and demanded money.

The subject of interest and the suspect in the robbery were both described as white males between 20 and 25 years old, standing between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 10 and weighing between 145 and 160 pounds.

The clerk was not injured in the robbery.
