LEAWOOD, Kan. - A 79-year-old woman was robbed after pulling into her garage in Leawood, Kan., on Monday.
The victim told police that a man walked in after she'd gotten out of her car in the 12800 block of Cambridge Road. He then grabbed her purse and ran to his vehicle.
Leawood police officers saw his vehicle a few blocks away and started chasing it. The pursuit ended near 106th and Oak after the suspect backed his vehicle into a police car.
He was taken into custody without incident.
