KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man was shot in the back Thursday morning in Kansas City.
It happened around 11 a.m. near East 33rd Street and Virginia Avenue.
According to police on the scene, the victim went to the area to meet a man he knew. When he arrived, he was greeted by the man and a second unknown man.
One of the men shot the victim, who ran to a nearby house for help. The suspects ran away.
The victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Police did not have a suspect description.
