KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A man was shot to death Saturday afternoon near the corner of 43rd Street and Parallel Parkway.
A police dispatcher said the call went out around 12:15 p.m. Saturday as an injury accident, but that when officers arrived on the scene, they found a man there who had been shot. The victim, identified by police as 35-year-old Marlon Lockett, of Kansas City, Kan., was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department's Major Case Unit asks anyone with information about the shooting death to call the TIPS Hotline, (816) 474-TIPS (8477).
