LENEXA, Kan. - There were more than plastic cups in boxes in a Lenexa, Kan., warehouse.
Police found 2,700 pounds of marijuana packed under the white cups in the 14000 block of West 100th Street.
The case began when Drug Enforcement Agents made an arrest in Indianapolis, Ind., according to the Lenexa Police Department spokesman.
Information gathered from that investigation resulted in an arrest in Kansas City. The next stop was the warehouse in Lenexa.
The warehouse was jammed from floor to ceiling with the boxes. Street value of the stash could exceed $1.5 million, according to police.
