INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Independence Police Department is working with the U.S. Marshal's Service in an attempt to locate an 8-year-old boy and his mother, who failed to return him to his custodial father after a July visit.
Authorities believe Rebecka Olah, 44, and her son, Noah Olah, are believed to be in the northern part of the Kansas City area, perhaps in Liberty or Smithville, Mo.
Rebecka is described as 5-5, 125 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes, while the boy is described as having brown hair and freckles.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call Independence Police, (816) 325-7300, the U.S. Marshal's Service, (816) 918-5026, or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8447).
Rebecka took charge of Noah on or about July 12, for a visit and failed to return the boy to his father, who is the primary custodial parent, as per a court-ordered arrangement.
A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Rebecka Olah for the offense of Child Abduction by the Jackson County Circuit Court.
