KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Chief of Police says one man was shot to death and another was stabbed early Monday morning at a party in south Kansas City.
Chief Darryl Forte tells 41 Action News the incidents happened in the 9200 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard.
Officers were called to the area at about 3:40 a.m.
The shooting victim was found first. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The stabbing victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, Forte said.
One person was taken into custody at the scene.
