Police: Knife and gun involved in Kansas City altercation that left one dead, three injured

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One person died and three others were injured Wednesday night in some sort of disturbance at a Kansas City residence.

Police say a knife and gun were involved in the altercation in the 100 block of Olive.

Officers were called there just after 10:20 p.m. and found a man dead and the three other people injured.

Police said one of the injured had critical injuries. The others’ injuries were considered non life-threatening.

Investigators did not disclose the nature of each person’s injuries, only saying at least the two different weapons were involved.

Authorities did not pass along any suspect information.
