OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - A 33-year-old man is dead after a drive-by shooting in Overland Park.
Raymon K. Thomas was struck and killed by a hail of bullets about 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the shooting happened while the victim was standing near his car in the driveway of his home on West 94th Terrace, near Lamar Avenue. Two men pulled up in red or maroon Ford Taurus, and the passenger exited the vehicle and began firing a weapon, striking Thomas multiple times.
Both suspects are described as heavyset black men, while the shooter was additionally described as having very short hair or a shaved head, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Their newer-model car had Missouri license plates.
