One person injured in Lawrence shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police and medics have been called to a shooting in Lawrence, Kan.
The incident occurred on the 2000 block of Heatherwood Drive, northeast of Clinton Parkway and Kasold Drive.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
