CASS COUNTY, Mo. - The two parents charged with child endangerment were arraigned separately in court on Thursday.
A tip from a school principal and social worker led police to a motel room where the couple’s seven children were found in squalid conditions.
When the children's parents Tammie and Brian Gregerson returned to the motel while police were present, they were arrested and ultimately charged with child endangerment.
According to court documents, trash and cat urine littered the floor. The seven kids were sharing two queen-sized beds. The bed sheets were said to have been soiled by the cat urine.
The Gregersons are set to appear in court next on October 24.
