KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Police say three adults were tied up while three children slept during a Kansas City home invasion Wednesday that left one of the adults with multiple stab wounds.
It happened about 7:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of Wabash. Witnesses say the suspects, one of which spoke Spanish, forced entry into the residence and tied up a woman in one room and a couple in another room.
That’s when the two men repeatedly stabbed the man in the leg, police said. He suffered life threatening injuries and was awaiting surgery mid-Wednesday morning.
The children and the other two adults were not injured. The adult women inside the house said they did not know their attackers.
Police say the suspects fled in a brown/greenish Buick.
