Police: Baby left in car after police chase ends in crash

A baby was left in a vehicle after a chase with police ended in a crash, according to Kansas City police.
Police said they were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle near 43rd and Prospect when the crash happened.
There were three people in the car that crashed – two adults and a baby. The two adults let the vehicle after it hit a light pole.
Police chased the two people on foot. One was caught. It was unclear if the second person involved had been arrested.
Police said the baby was not seriously hurt.
