KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police are investigating a deadly shooting Saturday night in Kansas City, Mo.
Authorities say three men were traveling north on Troost Avenue and 63rd Street when one of the passengers was shot.
One of the other two passengers drove the victim, identified by police as 20-year-old Maurice Landis II, of Kansas City, Mo., to Baptist-Research Hospital, 6601 Rockhill Rd. He was then transferred to Research Medical Center, 2316 E. Meyer Blvd., where he was pronounced dead.
