Police investigate deadly shooting outside Chubby's on Broadway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One person died Tuesday night in a shooting outside a Midtown Kansas City diner.
The shooting was reported around 10:30 p.m. outside Chubby’s on Broadway, 3756 Broadway.
A 41 Action News photographer on the scene says the victim, described by police as a Hispanic male in his 40s, was seen lying in the street.
Investigators had blocked off traffic on Broadway in the area while they worked to collect evidence.
Chubby's was the scene of another fatal shooting in July 2011. In that case, two people were shot , one of them fatally.
